Party in the Park/Emergency Preparedness Fair

Save the Date! Head out to Coiner Park for a day of fun next Saturday August 6th from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. There will be three ongoing events in collaboration with local churches, South Valley Athletics and the City of Cottage Grove. Party in the Park will be handing out a limited supply of backpacks filled with school supplies as well as free food and games. South Valley Athletics will also be organizing a basketball tournament held in the courts. Learn how to respond and prepare for an emergency of any kind such as an earthquake, flood, power outage or any other type of disaster. The first 100 people to fill out their provided stamp card will receive emergency prizes of their choosing. Come out to support the community and enter in a free raffle to win emergency preparedness prizes. Raffle prizes include: water conservation kits, luci lights, emergency kits, and survival bags. Participate in preparedness activities throughout the day and take an up-close look at emergency vehicles such as a fire truck, ambulance, armored vehicle and more. We hope to see you there!
