Get outside with Coast Fork Birders on February 18 for a guided bird walk to coordinate with the 2023 Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC)! The GBBC is a chance for people around the world to get out, count and celebrate birds! During this walk participants add their bird-sightings to the iNaturalist or eBird apps, contributing to our knowledge of birds and our ability to help conserve them. Join us at Row River Nature Park for a bird walk suitable for all birding abilities. The walk takes place on paved surfaces and can accommodate wheelchairs and those with limited mobility. Don’t have 3 hours? No worries, stay as little or long as you like! This is a great opportunity for new birders to learn how to identify a number of local birds. Binoculars are helpful, but not required to enjoy this outing. No dogs, please. Visit www.coastfork.org for more details. For questions contact gracelovesbirds1@gmail.com, or call 541-767-9717.
