Experiential marketing is a growing trend in the marketing industry; in a recent survey, 79% of companies said they invest more in it every year. What is experiential marketing and why is it growing so fast? (Hint: It's because it's effective.) What do you need to do to plan an experiential marketing experience for your company? Even if you don't plan to use "event marketing" to publicize your company this year, what tenants of experiential marketing can you use in your everyday marketing efforts? Sophia McDonald Bennett is a freelance writer, editor and marketing consultant in Eugene. Her work has been published in over two dozen publications and websites, including the blog of a nationally-known experiential marketing firm. A former event planner and nonprofit professional, Sophia will bring a bundle of experience, knowledge and energy to this presentation.
