Windy Ridge, one of the area’s longest tenured bands, consists of Cottage Grove home boys David Munsell, lead vocals, acoustic and electric guitar and keyboard. Ken Bachelder, bass guitar and vocals. Joe Tennis, lead guitar and vocals and Brad Helsel, drums and vocals.
David and Ken have been playing together for over fifty years while Joe came to join them in 1975. Long time area drummer Brad came on in 2017 to round out this latest(and probably last) version of the band. Along with twelve-year veteran sound engineer “Sonic” Dave Schenkle, these guys deliver a smooth variety of styles including Americana, Blues, Country and Rock classics spiced up with some of their own original tunes. With a little something for everyone these guys aim to please.
